Nordstrum Twitter Window

Interesting use of social media in the front window of Nordstrums Flagship store in Downtown Seattle. Users simply tweet the Hashtag #NSale and users tweets are shown in a stream in the window, helping to promote the sale in the process. With retail trying to find new ways to connect with consumers, blending the online world into the real world is an obvious step. I can’t help but feel there is something missing though. Sure, it’s kinda cool, but is it engaging enough to make me want to care? 

What are your thoughts? Does this represent the future of the High Street? Would you get involved?
