xgetsthesquare: This photo was taken by my talented and generally rad pal Alex Welsh at the ‘Double Rock’ housing projects in Hunters Point, SF. It’s the most striking image I’ve seen in a long time. I just got back from a 6 day trip to the Bay Area, where I lived for 5 years. And I have to admit, I had forgotten about this part of the city - as much of the city, I’m tempted to assume, also tends to do. These photos are a reminder to remember. (And maybe do something?)
