This old building on Spring and Bowery has always seemed like an abandoned dump, but really it’s a 72 mega mansion owned by photographer Jay Maisel.  Maisel bought it in the 60’s for only $102,000.  NY Mag has a small photo slideshow of the inside which isn’t as impressive as this guy around the corner.  It’s still a cool space!
