Flickr is beta testing the ability to tweet photos directly from Flickr. The cool part is that photos are rendered with a short url like this http://flic.kr/p/5Eh2Wz.

The resulting tweet is: Siesta time for rickshaw drivers in Phnom Penh, Cambodia http://flic.kr/p/5Eh2Wz

Go put put some Twitter in your Flickr.

If you like to post via email, you can assign a special email address to send your photo to flickr and post it to twitter in one shot, making mobile photo tweets via flickr pretty easy.

I think we;ll see this service opened up for use with Tweetdeck, Tweetie, and other Twitter applications later this year.
