JibJab is a web card maker, and sometimes hit factory, that I think of as being around the longest, and having some of the biggest hits. They have special success when it comes to political satire. This time, it’s over-the-top superhero credit for Barack Obama. They are tying in merchandising of products from the video: want a “He’s Barack Obama” T-Shirt?
I think their ability to create hits has something to do with them making original ideas for cards, not advertisements. It’s not straight marketing, and that is often what makes it so good. More on JibJab

I disagree, advertising is what draws attention to the cards and is surely a big factor in their success. And marketing done right, especially online, is suppose to be done under the radar, that's what makes it so effective. The video is awesome, the producer should submit that to Adwido.
